TESTIMONIALS

"We were going to celebrate our 6 year anniversary in another city since we live in Holland. We wanted to stay at a local bed and breakfast and found this gem. The owners were delightful the breakfast was great and the history of the home and the neighborhood was amazing. Had a great dinner less than 5 blocks away and enjoyed great cups of expresso and lattes. Would not only recommend but would go back again. Great People, Great Place and most important a tie to the history of Grand Rapids." - Mark R.

"We stayed in this B&B one night to attend a wedding in Grand Rapids. Wish we could have stayed longer! From the minute we arrived & were warmly greeted by the owners to our checkout the next day everything was exceptional. The home is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood ( one of Frank Loyd Wrights homes is a block away). The patio & garden area were such a delight to enjoy some tummy snacks always available to us. The rest of the home has been restored beautifully with several places to sit inside & relax. Our breakfast which was actually brunch would put any professional chef to same. Absolutely delicious! We cannot wait to come back & stay longer at this gem of a B & B. Stay here if you can I guarantee you will not be disappointed." - Stacy R.

"A very well presented historic bed and breakfast located in the Heritage Hill neighbourhood of Grand Rapids. We were warmly welcomed by Jeff even they we arrived late. Jeff took us on a tour of the property and explained its fascinating history. We were able to help ourselves to a cup of tea and a home baked cookie before retiring for the night. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. In the morning we were greeted by Ruth who had prepared a wonderful breakfast buffet. Before our departure we made time to enjoy a walk around the neighbourhood- many beautiful gardens and historic homes. Wished we could have stayed longer at Leonard on Logan! We would highly recommend the property to you" - Gay B.

A note from UE Swim & Dive Aces Booster Club Inc: Our 2nd annual Jason D Morse auction is being run by the UE Swim and Dive Booster Club. Our goal is to raise money to support, honor and to fulfill the Endowment Scholarship fund in Jason's name. The auction proceeds will go towards the Jason D Morse Endowment Scholarship fund and UE Swim and Dive Team. Background on Jason and this Endowment fund: In 2022 the Jason D. Morse '98 Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established. Morse passed away in 2017 after a three-and-a-half year battle with Adult Recurrent Wilms Cancer. Morse attended UE from 1994 through 1998, where he excelled as a distance freestyle swimmer for the UE swimming & diving program. Morse placed fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in the 1650-yard freestyle as a freshman, while placing eighth as a sophomore. He also was the first Purple Ace to break the 4:40 barrier in the 500-yard freestyle, as he left UE holding the school record in the event with a time of 4:39.36. Jason was also involved in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity during his time at UE. Thank you to all of the generous donors! We greatly appreciate everyone's support and we wish you good luck with your bids!
